Stock Cars

 

Here at Hathern Radio Controlled Stock Car Club there are several types of cars raced. The majority of the members run Bandit Racing cars, with others electing to develop their own cars.

 

Racing is three rounds, of 5 minute heats, with the best two heats to count for your final qualifying position.

Points are scored on where you finish in each heat.

 

                    1st – 5

                    2nd – 4

                    3rd – 3

                    4th – 2

                    5th – 1

                    6th – 1  etc….

 

Every driver makes a final depending upon where they qualify.

The first 6 qualify straight through to the A final, the next 8 to the Consolation, the remaining drivers to the C final.

The first 2 places in the Consolation, are promoted the A final.

Points are also scored on where you finish,

 

The “A” final winner scores 30 points, 28 for second….. etc..

 

4 Bonus points are also awarded for the highest Blue, Yellow and White top.

 

Roof Grades are awarded every 4 meetings.
