Bangers
Bangers are simply Mardave
V12 cars with saloon bodies and the windows cut out.
It is great formula for the
younger racers and is an ideal starting point before progressing to other
formulae.
There are several heats per
night and a Final. With points scored
on overall finishing positions.
Unlike Stock cars there is
no marshalling, so the skill is to keep your car running as fast as it can, and
on its wheels.
Racing is quite rough but
friendly, with many drivers willing to help you get back on your wheels, only
to bury you at the next corner.
Club Champions are the winner
of the Destruction Derby on Club Championship night, and hold the Gold Roof for
a year.
