BANDIT RACE CAR 2006
The
new race version has the same chassis, one-piece base plate and suspension as
the well-proven standard car, but has the following enhancements for a stronger
car and more adjustability. It is ideal for the club racer who wants a good
reliable, strong and adjustable car with low maintenance to keep you on track.
1) Alloy front axle with 3 degrees negative camber on both sides and alloy steering blocks for added strength, front left hand side/inside adjustable sliding kingpin suspension for better turn in and handling front end.
2) Brake resistor fitted to speed controlled for dynamic braking effect.
3) Disc and stud type wheel locators for added strength to the back axle.
4) CNC machined alloy motor mount, this along with the reversible plastic block means rear end can have the motor placed on left or right side for forward motor direction or reverse direction. The rear end is assembled on the left side as the V14 motors run faster in reverse direction.
5) Adjustable rear suspension, by moving the grub screw collar, the suspension/ride height can be altered for different track conditions.
6) Adjustable offset piviot, the offset can be adjusted by moving the o ring piviot left or right, moving the piviot to the right/outside of the car puts more weight on the inside wheels which will improve turn in and help prevent grip roll.
7) Ball racers fitted to the back axle ½ od in both motor mount and plastic axle block
8) 3-point motor mount top brace for added rigidity to motor and axle assembly.
9) 54 tooth V10 gear and specially designed gear carrier, for quicker gear changes and a faster accelerating car with the V12 type wheels, plastic axle locator for less friction on rear axle and bearing.
10) Racing compound tyres included (note will need gluing and truing)
11) Bolt in over riders fitted to the chassis.
12) Car fitted with Mardave track rods and servo saver or can be improved by the option below.
13) This car can easily be upgraded to the pro spec for £25.

Steel non adjustable track rods and centre
point steering, the steel track rods bent up from 2mm steel plate means
unbreakable track rods and they are mounted to one centre hole in the servo
saver altering ackaman this means the car turns faster into a bend and
straightens the car up better when accelerating out of the bend, note servo
needs supplying as track rods are made to measure.
Car comes completely built with radio gear fitted, battery pack, charger all set up ready to plug in and race from £230.00 plus £15.00 P&P.
